These pictures are of the Pink Ribbon Fire Truck Tour ( www.pinkribbontour.com ) that came to East Hartford, Ct fire headquarters on 10/1/09 to help the members there support deputy chiefs aide Judy Geier who was diagnosed with breast cancer this past summer. There was a fantastic show of support for her shown by family (she has 5 kids and a husband who is a police officer), friends, local and state level politicians and members of other fire departments from the area. Makes me proud to be a retired member of this dept. and see that the brother / sisterhood is still alive and strong.
