Albion, ME – has received a Federal Grant in the amount of $50,160 for 18 Complete Sets of Turnout Gear and a Thermal Imaging Camera.

Auburn, ME Fire Department- has assumed the ambulance service for the community.

Bangor, ME Fire Department- Fire Chief Scott Lucas has announced he will resign as fire chief effective December 3rd.

Bath, ME- Fire Chief Stephen Hinds will be retiring on April 15th after 38 years of service.

Bath, ME- Acting Chief Lawrence Renaud has been made permanent Fire Chief.

Biddeford, ME- a 1928 Ahrens Fox once belonging to the department was sold to a private collector for $125,000.

Bradley, ME- has received a federal grant in the amount of $55,610 for Firefighter Self Contained Breathing Apparatus.

Bridgewater, ME- has received a Federal grant in the amount of $24,909 for Personal Protective Gear.

Buckfield, ME- has awarded the bid to a contractor for the building of a new fire station. The new building will feature seven vehicle bays, offices, a bunk area, training rooms, storage rooms and a kitchen.

Buckfield, ME Rescue- Rescue Chief Lisa Bennett has resigned from her position as chief after 20 years of service.

Bucksport, ME- has recieved a federal grant in the amount of $24,938 to purchase 15 Complete Sets of Firefighter Turnout Gear.

Burlington, ME- the new fire station is now open and operating.

Chelsea, ME- has placed into service a 2004 five-ton forestry unit that was acqurired by donations from Maine Forest Service and other local businesses. The truck is painted in a lavender color to show support for general cancer awareness. Chelsea FF Ryan Trask has been battling a cancerous brain tumor and department members came up with the idea on the paint color.

Corinth, ME Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2006 Spartan Gladiator/Crimson 1500/500/20AF/30BF/65' and 10K generator. The unit originally served Coon Rapids, MN and replaces both Ladder 5 and Rescue 208.

Denmark, ME- has placed into service a 1990 E-One Hurricane 1250/500/F pumper that was acquired from Falmouth, ME. It is designated Engine 1 and replaces a 1979 Mack/E-One pumper that has been retired.

Denmark, ME Volunteer Fire Department- has received a Federal grant in the amount of $23,228 to purchase Various Hose, Nozzles and Appliances.

Hampden, ME- EMS Supervisor Lieutenant Frank Coombs has retired after 36 years of service.

North Lakes Fire and Rescue, Cross Lake, ME– has received a Federal Grant in the amount of $124,298.00 for Self Contained Breathing Apparatus.
