Epping, New Hampshire Fire Department- has purchased a 2011 Spartan Metro Star 1500/1000/20F. The unit had previously served Warner, NH and was damaged in a rollover MVA in 2017. It has been completely refurbished and recertified. It will be assigned as Engine 2 and replace Tank 2's 1989 Mack. Posted in June.

Somersworth, New Hampshire Fire Department- has received two Federal grants. The first, for $99,068, will be used for training and outfitting 10 new call firefighters. The 2nd, in the amount of $250,000, will be used to purchase a combination SCBA air supply unit and rehab unit. According to the fire chief, this will be the first custom built rig to peform both functions. Posted in January.
