Barnet Vermont Fire Department- has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $53,333.33 for firefighter breathing apparatus.

Berlin, Vermont Fire Department- has acquired a 2007 Pierce 1750/1000 pumper that previously served in Hannibal, NY. Posted in April.

Bristol Vermont Fire Department- has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $126,395.24 for firefighter breathing apparatus.

Danville, Vermont Fire Department- has placed into serice a 2012 Ford F-550/E-One Light Rescue as Squad 1. Also, Engine 2's 2004 International/V-Tec 1250/750 is now designated as Tanker 1. Posted in April.

East Burke, Vermont Fire Department- has acquired a 1997 Spartan/Quality/Aerial Inovations 105' RMA. It previously served in Walden, NY and is designated Ladder 7. Posted in February.

East Dover Vermont Fire Department- has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $89,523.81 for firefighter turnout gear & an air compressor – breathing apparatus refill system

Georgia, Vermont Fire Department- has told their 1990 Chevy 500/2000 to Fayetteville, TN. Posted in February.

Georgia, Vermont Fire Department- has removed the body of their 1999 Ford/E-One brush truck and mounted to a new 2020 Ford F-550 chassis. It has been converted into a light rescue and is designated Rescue 1. Posted in November.

Hubbardton, Vermont Fire Department- has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $ 80,000.00 for firefighter breathing apparatus.

Orleans, Vermont Fire Department- has changed numbers for a few of their engines. Engine 6's 2000 International/E-One 1250/1000 is now Engine 2. Engine 7's 2006 International/E-One 1500/1000 is now Engine 1. Posted in April.

Rutland City, Vermont Fire Department- Deputy Chief William Lovett has been appointed as Interim Fire Chief. Posted in February.

Ryegate, Vermont Fire Department- recently placed into service a 1988 Sutphen 1000/1000 as Engine 6. It previously served in Passadumkeag, ME. Posted in November.

Sheffield-Wheelock, Vermont Fire Department- has purchased Woodbury former Engine 1's 1998 International/E-One 1000/1000 pumper. Posted in January.

South Hero, Vermont Fire Department- Fire Chief Kim T Julow retired on May 6th after 26 years of service. Posted in May.

Strafford, Vermont Fireman’s Association- has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $79,523.81 for firefighter breathing apparatus

Troy, Vermont Fire Department- recently placed into service a 1998 Pierce Saber heavy rescue. It has previously served in East Northpoint, NY and Carl Junction, MO. Posted in May.

Vermont State Fire Academy- has been awarded a Federal grant int he amount of $168,171.82 for a smoke generator, firefighter protective gear, technical / water rescue equipment, and a storage trailer with tow vehicle.

Vernon, Vermont Fire Department- has named Alex Dunklee as the new Fire Chief. Posted in November.

West Burke, Vermont Fire Department- has acquired a Spartan/Smeal pumper and assigned it as Engine 2. No further info about the pumper. Posted in May.

West Fairlee, Vermont Fire Department- has purchased a 1995 Luverne/Spartan 1250/1000 and placed it in to service as Engine 1. It previously served in Conway Village, NH. Posted in January.

Westminster, Vermont Fire Department- has placed into service a 2003 Mack/2019 Osco 750/3000 as Tanker 1. Posted in January.

Westminster, Vermont Fire Department- announces the following promotions: Firefighter/EMT Jay Gagne has been promoted to Lieutenant (C6) and Lieutenant Gary Cobb has been promoted to Safety Captain (C5). Posted in July.

Whittingham, Vermont Fire Department- has placed into service a 1997 Freightliner/E-One 1250/1250 as Engine 1. It previously served in Rawlings, MD and was refurbished prior to being placed into service in Whittingham. Posted in July.

Williston, Vermont Fire Department- Chief Kenneth Morton Jr has announced he will retire at the end of the summer after 50 years in the fire service.

Williston, Vermont Fire Department- Deputy Chief Aaron Collette has been named as the new fire chief. Posted in August.
