2021 MAINE APPARATUS DELIVERIES

Brownfield, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of an HME Ahrens-Fox Mini EVO built on a 2020 Ford F-550 chassis. It features a Hale, 1500 GPM pump, 400 gallons of water, and a Hydraulic Driven 160 CFM CAF system. It has been assigned to Engine 1, replacing a 1988 International. Posted in January.

Friendship, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of a Ford F-550/E-One 4X4 light rescue for Utility 5. Features include: diesel engine, automatic transmission, aluminum wheels, rear cab storage for Fire/EMS gear, 12 volt and 110 power, and 4 SCBA brackets enclosed ZICO storage bags to ensure a clean cab environment. Other features include a rear back up camera, Hale 1500 GPM pump, de-rated for 1250GPM for extended longevity, Hale Class A foam system, 300 gallons of water, 30 gallons of foam. Posted in March.

LifeFlight of Maine- recently acquired a 2020 Agusta 109SP twin engine helicopter (N901XM) for LifeFlight 2. Posted in March.

Lincolnville, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of a new 2020 International HV607/E-One pumper for Engine 4. It features a stainless steel body, Waterous 1250 GPM pump, 1000 gallons of water, and CLass One Class A Foam system with 30 gallon tank. Posted in February.

Livermore Falls, Maine Fire Department- has purchased a 1997 E-One 95' tower that had served with the Jackson Fire District in NJ. The unit will replace a 1988 E-One 100' RMA that has been out of service since 2019. CLICK FOR ARTICLE. Posted in February.

Rockland, Maine Fire Department- receives Federal grant for COVID-19 supplies. CLICK FOR ARTICLE. Posted in February.

Rumford, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2020 Spartan ER demo pumper for Engine 2. It is equipped with a Darley LDM 1750 GPM pump and Pro Poly 750 gallon water tank. It also features a Foam Pro 2001 foam system with 20 gallon tank. Posted in January.

Saco, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Ferrara Cinder 1500 GPM, 1000 water, 50 foam for Engine 7. It replaces Engine 8's 1999 HME/Ferrara. Posted in March.

St. George, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/HME Ahrens-Fox 4X4 1500/400/15F for Engine 2. Posted in March.

Waterville, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of a 2020 Rosenbauer 101' Cobra aerial platform for Tower 1. It also features a 2000 GPM pump, 400 gallon water tank and 20 gallon Class A foam cell. Posted in February.

Dover-Foxcroft, Maine Fire Department- follow up: Special Town Meeting scheduled for February 3rd to vote on $1.4 million, which would fund a new ladder, new air packs and partially fund a new pumper. CLICK FOR ARTICLE. Posted in January.

Gray, Maine Fire Department- recently placed into service a 2020 Ford F-350 4X4 as Utility 46 and a new 2020 John Deery ATV w/ 80 gallon skid unit as ATV 1. Posted in March.

Lebanon, Maine Fire Department- has purchased former Hopkinton, NH’s Engine 2, a 1995 Simon Duplex/Valley 1500/1000. It will be designated Engine 143. Posted in January.
