Auburn, Maine Fire Department- had taken delivery of a 2021 Pierce Enforcer for Engine 3. It features a 1750 GPM pump and 1000 gallon water tank. Posted in June. Bangor, Maine Fire Department- recently took delivery of a 2021 Ford E-450/PL Custom Medallion ambulance for Rescue 1. Rescue 1's 2019 ambulance has been reassigned to Rescue 6. Rescue 6's 2017 ambulance has been reassigned to Rescue 2, with the former Rescue 2 being retired. Brownfield, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of an HME Ahrens-Fox Mini EVO built on a 2020 Ford F-550 chassis. It features a Hale, 1500 GPM pump, 400 gallons of water, and a Hydraulic Driven 160 CFM CAF system. It has been assigned to Engine 1, replacing a 1988 International. Posted in January. The new unit features a Cummins L9 350HP motor, Allison EVS 3000 Transmission, Hale DSD 1500 GPM Pump and 1000 gallon water tank. Posted in July. Eliot Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Smeal Custom Top-Mount Pumper for Engine 3. It features a Smeal Sirius II MFD chassis with 10" raised roof and Cummins L9-450hp motor, Waterous CXSC20 1500 GPM pump and Waterous Aquis 3 Dual foam system, 1000 gallon water tank, 20 gallon class B and 10 gallon class A foam cells. Friendship, Maine Fire Department- has taken delivery of a Ford F-550/E-One 4X4 light rescue for Utility 5. Features include: diesel engine, automatic transmission, aluminum wheels, rear cab storage for Fire/EMS gear, 12 volt and 110 power, and 4 SCBA brackets enclosed ZICO storage bags to ensure a clean cab environment.
