Acton Fire Department has placed an order with Specialty Vehicles, Inc. for a Mack/Rosenbauer 3000 gallon tanker. The unit will feature a Hale pump, FoamPro class A foam system, 3/16” FX Aluminum body, Zico electric drop tank storage, enclosed ladder, hard suction and pike pole storage, a rear body swivel dump and Line-X blackout package. Bangor Fire has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Enforcer PUC 1500/750 pumper. Sept 2023. Bath Iron Works Fire Department has placed an order with Sugarloaf Ambulance/Rescue Vehicles for a 2021 Ford E-450 Type III PL Custom Medallion Ambulance for Rescue 1. This unit is as a demo and is the first new Ambulance in the Department’s History. This will replace the 2009 Ford Lifeline Ambulance. Delivery scheduled for middle of November 2022. Biddeford Fire Department has ordered a Sutphen Monarch 1500/1000/30F pumper. May 2024. Bremen Fire Department has placed an order for a 2022 Freightliner M2-106 / Midwest 1000/3000 pumper/tanker. Features include a 7.3L gas engine, Vengeant patented flatbed body with customized storage boxes including between the frame rails storage, a Vengeant RipTide skid unit including a 300-gallon poly tank, hose reel with 200’ 1” hose, and a 20 HP Honda CET pump. The truck will be designated as Brush 7. Funds for the truck were provided through a Federal grant. May 2023.
