East Providence Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood EV for a Dodge 5500/Wheeled Coach ambulance. August 2024. Exeter EMS has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Road Rescue Ultramedic ambulance built on a Ford F-559 4X4 chassis. Jan 2023. Hope Jackson Fire in Scituate has on order a Life Line ambulance with delivery expected in early 2025. Hope Valley Fire Department has on order with C&S Specialty an International HV607/Toyne 1250/3000 tanker. August 2024. Johnston Fire is in the process of ordering a new ladder truck. Moosup Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new mini-pumper. August 2024. Newport Fire Department has placed an order with Seagrave for a 100' tractor drawn aerial ladder truck. Delivery is expected late in 2023. May 2022. Bristol Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2024 Freightliner M2/PL Custom ambulance for Rescue 4. Posted in March. Bristol Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2024 Spartan Metro Star/Smeal 1500/1000 for Engine 4. Posted in June. Pawtucket Fire has acquired a 1992 E-One Protector 1500/500 for use as a spare, designated Engine 10. It previously served in North Providence. Posted in June. Portsmouth Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2024 KME Severe Service 1500/750/30F for Engine 1. Posted in November. Providence Fire Department has purchased Warren, RI's 1989 Maxim 1500/500 for use as a spare pumper. Warwick Fire Department has purchased Cranston Engine 6's former 2008 HME/Ahrens Fox 1500/800. It will replace Engine 11's 1994 Pierce which has been permanently removed from service.
