Long Hill Fire in Trumbull has placed an order with Hudson Valley Fire Equip for a Seagrave Marauder 1500/750 pumper. February 2024. Manchester Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One 100' RM ladder truck. July 2023. Marlborough Fire Department's new Spartan/Rescue 1 heavy rescue has been completed at the factory. Delivery will take place after outfitting at the local dealer. July 2023. Middlebury Fire Department has placed an order with Firematic for a Pierce Velocity pumper tanker with 1250 GPM pump, 2500 gallon water tank, 100 gallon foam tank, and a Cummins X15 605hp engine. Nov 2022. Milford has approved funding to purchase a new quint type ladder truck. Feb 2023. Mortlake Fire Department in Brooklyn has placed an order with Smeal for a pumper built on a Spartan MetroStar chassis. Features include a Cummings 450 HP motor, Allison transmission, 1500 GPM Hale pump, 1250 gallon water tank and 20 gallon foam tank. Nov 2021. Naugatuck Fire has placed an order with Firematic for a new Pierce pumper. Apr 2022. Naugatuck Fire Department has placed an order with Firematic for a Pierce Enforcer heavy rescue. August 2024. New Haven Fire has contracted with FWD Seagrave for construction of one (1) Seagrave Capital chassis 95’ Aerialscope mid mount tower ladder with a stainless-steel cab and body, Harrison 8kw generator, Whelen scene lights, and a Motorola radio system. They have also ordered two (2) Seagrave Capital chassis 1500 gpm / 500 gallon pumpers with stainless steel cabs and bodies, Harrison 8kw generator, Whelen scene lights and a Motorola radio system. Delivery is expected in 2025 for all 3 trucks. June 2023. Newington Fire Department has conducted final inspection of their new Pierce rear-mount tower ladder for Truck 2. Delivery will take place after outfitting at the local dealer. Feb 2023. Noroton Fire Department in Darien has place an order for a Marion pumper built on a Spartan chassis. August 2024. Portland Fire Department has funds to purchase a new tanker to replace Tanker 6's 1985 GMC/Saulsbury 3000 gallon. They also have been given funding to purchase a new pumper next year. Sep 2022. Portland Fire has placed an order with Marion for a pumper built on a Spartan chassis. Ridgefield voters approved $1.8 million to purchase to new pieces of apparatus from Pierce. CLICK FOR ARTICLE. Sep 2022. Seymour Fire Department has contracted with FWD Seagrave for construction of a Seagrave Marauder Force 100’ rear-mount aerial with a stainless-steel cab and body. The truck will be equipped with seating for six, waterway, an Onan 10 kw hydraulic generator, Whelen scene lights, a Wil-Burt light tower and customized storage compartments to meet the department needs. This is expected to be assigned to the Great Hill station and replace Rescue 17. Delivery is expected in 2025. June 2023. South Killingly Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a new E-One pumper. Jan 2023. Stamford EMS has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a Horton ambulance built on a Ford F-350 series chassis. Sep 2022. Stamford EMS has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a Horton ambulance built on a Ford F-550 chassis. March 2023. Sterling Fire's new rescue/pumper has been completed at the factory. Built by Marion on at Spartan chassis, the new unit will be delivered to the department after outfitting at the local dealer. West Haven Fire had placed an order with Pierce for an Enforcer pumper with 1250 GPM pump, 630 gallon water tank and 20 gallon foam tank. Mar 2022. West Haven Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new regional rehab unit. August 2024. Willimantic Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for two (2) Ford F-550/Horton ambulances. Mar 2022. Wilton Fire has signed a contact with Pierce for an Arrow XT 105' heavy duty rear mount ladder truck. May 2022. Windsor Locks Fire Department has signed a contract with FWD Seagrave to remove and re install their Salisbury rescue body onto a to new Seagrave Marauder four door chassis. The body will receive some factory modifications prior to re installation on the new chassis. The new chassis will be equipped with a 10" raised roof, seating for six, EMS compartment, a front bumper mounted Ramsey 12,000 lb winch and bumper storage compartments. The original truck cab sustained heavy, unrepairable damage from a motor vehicle accident earlier this year on I-91 while lane blocking for an unrelated motor vehicle accident. June 2023. Woodbury Fire Department has placed an order with 4-Guys for a pumper/tanker built on an International chassis with 2-door cab. East Hartford Has taken delivery of a 3rd 2024 Seagrave Capitol 1500/500 with this last one being assigned to Engine 3. Posted in January. |

East Hartford Fire has assigned Engine 2 a 2017 Seagrave Marauder II 1250/500/F, which previously served as Engine 1. Posted in January. Greenwich Fire Department has assigned Engine 3's 2018 Pierce Arrow XT 1500/750 to Engine 1. Engine 1's 2018 Pierce was totalled after being struck by a vehicle in 2024. Engine 11's 2004 Pierce will be reassigned to Engine 3. Engine 51's 2004 Pierce has been totalled after an accident in December of 2024. Posted in January. |
