Central Coventry Fire has acquired a 1995 Pierce Saber 1250/750 for Engine 5, a reserve engine. The rig previously served in Berlin, Mass. Posted in June.

Charlestown Rescue has taken delivery of a 2024 Freightliner M2/PL Custom ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in March.

Cranson Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2025 E-One Cyclone 100' RMA for Ladder 2. The current 2003 HME will be retained as a spare. Posted in November.

Cumberland Fire Department recently acquired a 2001 E-One Cyclone II 1250/750 for reserve Engine 6. It previously served in Maynard, Mass. Posted in July.

Electric Boat Fire Department in North Kingstown has placed into service a 2004 Spartan/Smeal 4x4 1500/500/25A (ex Riverside County, CA) as Engine 1. Posted in March.

Lime Rock Fire in Lincoln has taken delivery of a 2025 Spartan/Marion air supply unit. This is a shared regional unit that will be utilized by mutliple departments across northern Rhode Island. May 2025.

Providence Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new ambulance. Posted in October.

Providence Fire Department has organized two impact ambulances, Rescue 8 and Rescue 9, to operate during peak hours. Rescue 8 will be staffed Monday-Thurday from 9AM until 7PM, with Rescue 9 being staffed from Thursday-Friday 9AM until 7PM. The ambulances being utilized are a 2011 Ford F-350/Horton and 2013 Ford F-350/Horton previously assigned to Rescue 3 and 4. Posted in December.
