Members: 216 Full Time - Work Schedule: 24 hr shifts - Call Volume: 9,900 - Frequency: 1- 470.5125 2- 471.0375 - Official Website
Shift Staffing: 38- 2 District Chiefs, 9 Officers, 27 Firefighters - Each company is staffed with 1 officer and 3 firefighters w/ a 4th firefighter assigned. If all members of a company are present for a shift, 1 firefighter is floated to a company that is short that day. - Each company has 1 captain working 1 shift with 3 lieutenants working the other shifts. District Chiefs do not have aides. - Dispatch has 1 lieutenant and 9 firefighters assigned. Dispatchers work 10 hr days/14 hr nights with 2 dispatchers working at a time. The lieutenant works days and the 9th dispatcher is a floater that can cover dispatch or fire supression shifts. - Fire Prevention has 1 captain, 1 lieutenant and 3 firefighters assigned. Trainging has 1 captain and 1 firefighter assigned. The Marine Safety Unit has 1 captain that works days with other members working shifts on companies. 1 District Chief is assigned as the Support Services chief.
