2022 MASSACHUSETTS APPARATUS ORDERS AND FUNDING

Amesbury Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $947,619.05 for an Aerial Ladder Truck. Sept 2021.

Amherst Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One Typhoon custom pumper. Mar 2022.

Arlington Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a new custom E-One pumper. Aug 2022.

Attelboro Fire Department has place an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Enforcer pumper with 1500 GPM pump and 750 gallon water tank. Jul 2022.

Avon Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire & Rescue for a Pierce Enforcer pumper with 1250 GPM pump and 750 gallon water tank. May 2022.

Ayer Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One custom pumper. Jun 2022.

Barre Fire Department has signed a contract with Allegiance Fire Rescue for a new International CV/Road Rescue Ultra medic ambulance. This new rig will replace the current Ambulance 1. In addition, the town approved funding to purhcase a pumper to replace Engine 5. The department also received an AFG grant in the amount of 476,120 for the purchase of a new tanker to replace Forestry 2. Oct 2022.

Belchertown Fire Department has placed an order with Allegience for three pieces of apparatus. The first is a Road Rescue ambulance built on a Ford F-550 4X4 chassis. The second is a Pierce 2500 gallon tanker built on a Kenworth T880 chassis. And the third is a Pierce Enforcer-Ascendant 100' Mid-Mount tower. Funding for the tanker was through a Federal FEMA grant. Blackstone Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for a pumper built on a commercial chassis. Jul 2021.

Bolton Fire Department has awarded Seagrave a contract to built a new rescue pumper with a Marauder II cab/chassis. It will feature a 1500 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and 30 gallon foam tank. Aug 2021.

Boston Fire Department has put out for bid a Technical Rescue Response Truck and 9 pumpers. The bid for the pumpers was awarded to E-One, all built to the specifications of the current pumpers in the fleet. They will be delivered 3 per fiscal year with the first 3 being completed by the end of June 2022, the next 3 by the end of June of 2023 and the final 3 by the end of June 2024. August 2022. Update: the three 2022 pumpers have been delivered and assigned to Engine 21, Engine 51, and Engine 52.

Boylston Fire Department has placed an order for a new E-One rescue-pumper. April 2022.

Brockton Fire Department has placed and order with Allegiance Fire Apparatus for 3 (three) Pierce fire trucks. The first is an Enforcer 1500 GPM rescue-pumper, the 2nd is an Enforcer 105' RM ladder truck and the 3rd is an Enforcer 100' RM Tower. Apr 2022.

Brookfield Fire Department has placed an order with Pierce for a Saber pumper with 1500 GPM pump and 1000 gallon tank. Mar 2022.

Cambridge Fire had placed an order with Pierce for two (2) Enforcer 1250 GPM pumpers. Features include: Enforcer Chassis with 60” Cab, 400 HP Cummins L9 Engine, Alison EVS 3000 Series Transmission, IRT Idle Reduction Technology, Frontal Air Bags, 304L Stainless Steel 152” Second Generation Body, Hot Dipped Galvanized Frame Rail and Underbody Structure. Charlton Fire Department has placed an order with 4 Guys for a pumper/tanker built on a Spartan chassis w/ FC-94 2-door cab. Featurs include a 1000 GPM FTO pump and 2500 gallon water tank. Mar 2022.

Chelmsford Fire Department has purchased a stock Pierce Saber rescue from Allegiance Fire/Rescue. Aug 2022.

Chelsea Fire Department has funds to purchase a new tower-ladder. May 2022.

Dartmouth, Mass Fire District # 3- has placed an order with Specialty Vehicles, Inc. for a Rosenbauer Commander EXT pumper. Features include Rosenbauer Commander 78” cab with 8” raised roof, Cummins L9 450HP motor and Allison 3000EVS transmission, extruded aluminum EXT body, all Whelen brand LED emergency and scene lighting, 1250 gpm Hale pump and 1000 gallon tank and more. Sep 2021.

Dighton Fire Department has on order a 2022 KME Predator 1500/1000 pumper. Jan 2022.

Douglas Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire and Rescue for a Pierce Saber 1500 GPM pumper. Jun 2022.

Dracut Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for 3 pieces of apparatus- an HP95’ Mid mount Tower; a Typhoon Custom Pumper with 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and 30 gallon A foam tank, 750/30A; and mini pumper with 1250 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank built on a Ford F-550 chassis. In addition, the department will be sending Engine 1's 2009 E-One Typhoon out to be refurbished, which will become a spare after the new pumper is in service. The department has also ordered a Ford F-350 utility truck, a 16’ rescue boat, and a new SBA compressor. The fire chief noted that this is the largest single equipment investment in the history of the Dracut Fire Department. Jun 2022.

Easton Fire Departmant has ordered a 2023 Toyne Custom Rescue Pumper on a Spartan Gladiator custom chassis with 1750 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and stainless steel body. Delivery expected January 2023.

Eastham Fire Department has placed an order with Pierce for a quint built on an Enforcer chassis with 75' Ascendant aerial. Jul 2021.

East Longmeadow Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire and Rescue for a Pierce Enforcer PUC 1500 GPM pumper. Jul 2022.

Easthampton ire Department has received a Federal grant in the amount of $261,904.76 for a new ambulance. Aug 2021.

Egremont Fire Department has placed an order with Lakes Region Fire Apparatus for an HME Ahrens-Fox AF622-Mini EVO. It will be built on a 2021 Ford F-550 4X4 Chassis with 1500 GPM Hale pump and 400 gallon water tank. June 2021.

Fairhaven Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for a new pumper. The department had been awarded a Federal grant for $566,666.67 that was put towards this purchase. Oct 2021.

Falmouth Fire Department has placed an order with Pierce for an Arrow XT pumper with 1500 GPM pump and 720 gallon water tank. Oct 2021.

Hancock Fire Department has placed an order with Specialty Vehicles for a new Rosenbauer tanker built on an International HV-607 chassis. Features include: 3/16” FX aluminum body, 1250 GPM Waterous pump, 2500 gallon water tank, Ziamatic Corp. (Zico) folding tank rack system, Enclosed hard suction hose storage, Booster reel, Rosenbauer EZ Climb rear access ladder, Amdor Inc. brand roll up doors, Newton brand rear and side electric tank dumps and Whelen Engineering LED emergency and scene lighting package. Funding for the truck had been provided through a Federal FEMA grant. Dec 2021.

Harvard has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $761,904.76 for a ladder truck. Sep 2021.

Hingham Fire Department has place an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a new custom built E-One pumper. Aug 2022.

Hinsdale Fire Department has placed an order with VRS Sales for a new Toyne EP Transporter Tanker built on a Freightliner SD series chassis. It will feature a Hale 750 GPM pump, 3000 gallon water tank, Toyne welded stainless steel body, three (3) Newton dumps and a Zico drop down porta tank rack. Oct 2022.

Holden Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a Horton ambulance built on a Ford F-550 chassis. Sept 2022.

Hopkinton Fire Department has placed an order with Pierce for two (2) Enforcer 1500 GPM pumpers with 720 gallon water tanks. Aug 2022.

Massachusetts Firefighting Academy has ordered three (3) International MV607 4-door pumpers that are being built by Ferrara. All three have 1250 GPM pumps and 500 gallon water tanks. One of them with have a 30 gallon foam tank and CAFS system. As of September 2022, two of the three have been delivered. Apr 2021.

Massachusetts Firefighting Academy has on order a 2022 KME Severe Service 109' RMA.

Sandwich Fire Department has placed an order with Sutphen for a pumper with 1500 GPM pump and 1500 gallon tank.

Springfield Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for two (2) Pierce Enforcer PUC 1500 GPM pumpers for Engine 2 and Engine 3 as well as a Pierce Enforcer rescue-pumper with 1500 GPM pump for the Rescue Squad. Jul 2022.

Stoneham Fire Department has ordered a Seagrave Marauder with 1250 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and 30 gallons of foam. May 2021.

Waltham Fire Department has placed an order with Seagrave for a pumper to replace Engine 7. Specifications are similar to the current Engine 3. Dec 2021.

Wareham Fire District has placed an order with Lakes Region Fire Apparatus for an Alexis pumper built on a Spartan MetroStar chassis. It will feature a 1250 GPM pump and 2000 gallon tank. April 2022.

Warren Fire Department has on order a Life Line ambulance.

Warren Fire Department has placed an order with Specialty Vehicles, Inc. for a CET brush truck on a RAM 5500 2-Door chassis. Specs include 10,000 lb. portable winch, super single tires, 3.5” lift kit, CET aluminum flatbed body, 300 gallon water tank, Scotty class B foam system and 315GPM CET diesel fire pump. May 2022.

Wellfleet Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One custom pumper. Aug 2022.

West Barnstable Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Saber pumper/tanker with 2000 GPM pump and 3000 gallon water tank. Oct 2022.

West Springfield, Mass Fire Department has placed an order with Pierce for a 75' rearmount quint with a 1500 GPM pump and 500 gallon tank on an Enforcer chassis. Delivery is expected in the summer or early fall of 2023. It will replace Engine 3's American LaFrance. Feb 2022.

Wilbraham Fire Department has placed an order for a Road Rescue ambulance built on a Ford F-550 4X4 chassis. Dec 2021.

Winchester Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire & Rescue for a Pierce Enforcer pumper with 1500 GPM pump and 750 gallon water tank. May 2022.

Winthrop Fire Department has placed an order with Seagrave for a new Marauder 1500 GPM pumper. Oct 2021.

Worcester Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for two (2) E-One pumpers. Aug 2022.

Abington Fire has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/Firematic BRAT 4x4 250/300/10F for Forest Fire 1. Posted in May.

Acton Fire Department recently place into service a 2021 International/Excellance ambulance as Rescue 35. Posted in June.

Adams Ambulance recently placed into service two (2) 2021 Ford E-450/Frontline ambulances as Unit 1 and Unit 3. Posted in June.

Agawam Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford E-450/PL Custom ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in June.

Ashburnham Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Rosenbauer Commander Viper 1500/500/20A 78’ RMA for Ladder 1. Posted in September.

Athol Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Spartan Metro Star/Toyne Stainless Steel Rescue-Pumper for Engine 1. It features a 1500 GPM pumper, 1000 gallon water tank and 25 gallon Class A foam tank. Posted in January.

Auburn Fire recently placed into service a 2021 Ford F-550/Road Rescue 4x4 ambulance as Ambulance 4. This is an add on to the fleet and nothing was replaced. Posted in April.

Avon Fire Department has taken delivery of a stock 2022 Pierce Enforcer 1250/750 pumper for Engine 3. Posted in October.

Barnstable Fire Department recently placed into service a 2021 Ford F-550/Life Line 4x4 ambulance as Ambulance 204. Car 212, the shift commander's vehicle, also recently received a 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4. Posted in February.

Barnstable Fire has taken delivery of a 2021 Pierce Enforcer Ascendant 2000/500 107' RMA for Ladder 206. The 1992 Pierce it replaces will be disposed of. Posted in April.

Barnstable Airport Fire Department recently placed into service a 2021 Ford F-550/Rosenbauer Airwolf Class 2 4x4 500/300/40A/500lbs. PKP as Engine 816. Posted in February.

Bedford Fire Department has taken delivery of an 2020 Ford F-550 4X4/2021 HME Ahrens-Fox Mini EVO AF 622. It features a 1500 GPM pump, 400 gallons of water, 15A/25B Foam and is designated Squad 1. Posted in February.

Boston Fire Department has taken delivery of two (2) 2021 E-One Cyclone-Metro 100' RMA ladder trucks. They will be assigned to Ladder 16 and Ladder 18. Posted in February.

Boston Fire Department has received a new 2022 Chevy Suburban for the District 10 chief. Posted in February.

Boston Fire Department has taken delivery of two additional 2021 E-One Typhoon-Metro 100' RMA ladder trucks for Ladder 17 and Ladder 26. Posted in February.

Boston Fire Department has taken delivery of three (3) 2022 E-One Typhoon 1250/560/30F pumpers. They will be assigned to Engine 21, Engine 51 and Engine 52. Posted in September.

Boston MedFlight has taken delivery of a 2021 Freightliner/Life Line critical care ambulance for MedFlight 7. Posted in January.

Boston MedFlight has taken delivery of a 2022 Freightliner/Life Line ambulance for MedFlight 9. Posted in October.

Boston Sparks Assoc have aquired a 2010 Ford E-450/2004 PL Custom ex ambulance for use as an incident support unit. Designated SA-10, it had previously served as an ambulance with the Kingston, Mass Fire Department. Posted in March.

Bourne Fire Department recently placed into service a 1993 AM General Humvee/Fire-1 4x4 75/200 as Forestry 127. Posted in July.

Boxford Fire Department has placed into service a 2015 Ford Explorer as Squad 1. The former police cruiser will be utilized as the duty OIC/EMT's vehicle for direct response on overnights. Posted in September.

Braintree Fire's new 2022 E-One Typhoon 1500/750/50F has been completed at the factory. Delivery to the department will take place shortly. Posted in October.

Brewster Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Dodge Ram 5500/Life Line 4x4 ambulance for Ambulance 243. It replaces a 2016 Ford/Life Line. Posted in April.

Brimfield Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Spartan MetroStar/Toyne pumper for Engine 2. It features a 1500 GPM pump and 1000 gallon water tank. Posted in June.

Brockton Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Spartan/EVI heavy rescue. Designated Rescue 1, the unit will replace both the Tactical Support Unit (1998 Freightliner/Central States) and Special Operations Unit (1981 Mack CF). Posted in March.

Brockton Fire Department has purchased former Scarborough, ME's 1996 E-One 100' RMA for Ladder 2. The current Ladder 2, a 2006 HME, has been removed from service permanently due to frame problems. The 1996 E-One will run as Ladder 2 until a new Pierce ladder that is on order is delivered. Posted in July.

Carver Fire Department has taken delivery of a new brush truck for Forestry 25. The new Firematic B.R.A.T. is built on a 2021 Ford F-550 4X4 chassis and features a Waterous E511 pump package with Kubota 24 hp diesel engine with enclosed pump panel, 400 gallon water tank, 10 gallon foam tank and HD Aluminum Fabricated Flatbed with FEA Tested Roll Bar, Cab and body Protection Cage. Charlton Fire had taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/Life Line 4x4 ambulance for Ambulance 2. Posted in May.

Chatham Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-550/Life Line 4X4 ambulance for Ambulance 183. Posted in September.

Cheshire Fire Department recently placed into service a 2014 Dodge Ram 4500 4x4 250/400 as Brush 6. Posted in June.

Cohassett Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-550/Osage 4X4 ambulance for Ambulance 1. It replaces a 2009 Ford/Osage. Posted in March.

Dedham Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 E-One Typhoon Emax Stainless Pumper for Engine 3. It features a Cummins L9 450hp engine, Allison EVS 300 transmission, 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallons of water and 30 gallons of foam for the Hypro/Foam Pro 2002 system.

Dudley Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2021 Ford F-450/Medix 4x4 ambulance for Paramedic 1. Posted in May.

Duxbury Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2022 Dodge Ram 5500/Horton 4x4 ambulance for Ambulance 2. Posted in June.

Duxbury Fire Department has placed into service a 2022 Ford F-350 Utility 4x4 for Squad 1. Posted in July.

East Bridgewater Fire has taken delivery of a 2021 Rosenbauer Commander Cobra 100' MMA tower for Tower 1. It is also equipped with a 2000 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank. Posted in January.

East Bridgewater Fire has taken delivery of a 2021 Dodge Ram 5500/Life Line 4x4 ambulance for Ambulance 1. Posted in April.

Everett Fire Department is set to take delivery of a 2022 Ford F-350/Crestline ambulance. Designated Ambulance 1, it will run in congunction with Cataldo Ambulance Service. It has not been released as to when the ambulance might go into service. Posted in June.
