Acton Fire Department has placed an order with Specialty Vehicles, Inc. for a Mack/Rosenbauer 3000 gallon tanker. The unit will feature a Hale pump, FoamPro class A foam system, 3/16” FX Aluminum body, Zico electric drop tank storage, enclosed ladder, hard suction and pike pole storage, a rear body swivel dump and Line-X blackout package. Dec 2020. Andover Fire Department has funding to purchase a new 2000 gallon tanker. Jul 2021. Anson Fire Department has placed an order with 4 Guys for a pumper/tanker built on a Spartan chassis with MetroStar 4 door cab. Features include a stainless steel body, 1500 GPM pump and 2500 gallon water tank. Mar 2022. Appleton Fire Department received funding to purchase a new tanker. Feb 2020. Auburn Fire Department has on order a Pierce Enforcer 100' Ascendant Mid-Mount Tower with 2000 GPM pump. Delivery is scheduled for early 2025. Dec 2022. Augusta Fire Department has placed an order with Northeast Emergency Apparatus for a new Ferrara Inferno pumper. Features include: Cummins 500 HP engine, 1750 GPM Waterous Pump, 1000 gallon poly water tank, and a 30-gallon foam cell. Aug 2022. Bath Iron Works Fire Department has placed an order with Sugarloaf Ambulance/Rescue Vehicles for a 2021 Ford E-450 Type III PL Custom Medallion Ambulance for Rescue 1. This unit is as a demo and is the first new Ambulance in the Department’s History. This will replace the 2009 Ford Lifeline Ambulance. Delivery scheduled for middle of November 2022. Boothbay Fire Department received funding to purchase a new pumper to replace Engine 4's 1994 International. Mar 2021. Bremen Fire Department has placed an order for a 2022 Freightliner M2-106 / Midwest 1000/3000 pumper/tanker. Delivery is expected in October of 2022. Jan 2022. Buxton Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $428,571.43 for a Wildland Interface Firefighting Pumper. Sep 2021. Cape Elizabeth Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a Horton ambulance built on a Ford F-550 chassis. Aug 2022. Levant voters approved funds to purchase a new rescue-pumper that will replace 2 pieces of apparatus. Nov 2022. Lisbon voters approved funds to purchase two new pieces of apparatus. They will replace Engine 1's Pierce pumper, Engine 2's Freightliner tanker and Rescue 10's 2008 HME. No information at this time on which manufacturer will be building the new apparatus. Nov 2022.
