2023 RHODE ISLAND APPARATUS ORDERS AND FUNDING

Barrington Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for a new Typhoon pumper. Oct 2022.

Block Island Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for an HR100 rear mount ladder truck built on a 10 wheel chassis. Dec 2021.

Cranston gets $1M grant for new ladder truck built by E-One. CLICK FOR ARTICLE. Nov 2022.

Cumberland Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One Typhoon custom pumper. Funding for this unit was provided through a Federal grant. April 2023.

East Providence Fire has placed an order with C&S Speciality for two (2) Stainless Steel pumpers built on Spartan chassis. The unit for Engine 4 will be a foam pumper while Engine 5's will be a traditional engine. Delivery is expected in March of 2024. Oct 2022.

Exeter EMS has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Road Rescue Ultramedic ambulance built on a Ford F-559 4X4 chassis. Jan 2023.

Johnston Fire is in the process of ordering a new ladder truck. No confirmation on the manufacturer at this time. Apr 2022.

Lime Rock Fire in Lincoln has placed an order with E-One for a Typhoon pumper.

Lincoln-Lime Rock Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new regional air/light/rehab unit. March 2023.

Newport Fire Department has placed an order with Seagrave for a 100' tractor drawn aerial ladder truck. Delivery is expected late in 2023. May 2022.

North Providence Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One Typhoon pumper. Nov 2022.

North Providence Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a 2nd E-One Typhoon pumper. This is in addition to the one ordered in 2022. April 2023.

North Smithfield Fire has on order a new ambulance for Rescue 1. Dec 2022.

Pascoag Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $579,337.14 for a new pumper. Sep 2021.

Pawtucket Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for a Typhoon pumper.

Providence Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for two (2) Road Rescue ambulances built on Ford F series chassis. Nov 2022.

Providence Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new ambulance. March 2023.

Smithfield Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a new E-One pumper and E-One 100' rear-mount tower. They also ordered a new ambulance. Feb 2022.

Warwick Fire Department- currently has on order an E-One 100' rear-mount HP Platform ladder truck. Oct 2021.

West Warwick Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new ladder truck. March 2023.




2023 RHODE ISLAND APPARATUS DELIVERIES (New and Used)

Cranston Fire had taken delivery of a 2023 E-One Cyclone 1750/750/30A for Engine 4. Posted in April.

Lake Mishnock Fire Department in West Greenwich recently placed into service a 1996 Pierce Dash 2000/2500 as Tanker 1. It had previously served with the Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Department in Lancaster, OH. Posted in March.

Lake Mishnock has placed into service a 1974 AM General/2023 Dept. Build 6x6 250/750/10F as Brush 1. It previously served in Plympton and West Bridgewater, MA. Posted in May.

Lincoln has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-550/PL Custom 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in May.

North Providence Fire has acquired a 2011 E-One pumper and assigned to Engine 2. Posted in April.

North Providence Fire has placed into service a 2019 Ford F-450/Demers 4x4 ambulance as Rescue 2. It previously served in Owego, NY. Posted in May.

Providence Fire has purchased two (2) 2016 Pierce Impel 1500/500 pumpers for Engine 2 and Engine 8. They previously served in Kansas City, MO. Posted in May.

Smithfield Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-550/Wheeled Coach 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in May.

Tiverton Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-450/Braun 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in May.

Warren Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD 4x4 125/200/5F for Brush 1. Posted in May.

Warwick Fire Department recently acquired a 2002 E-One Typhoon 1500/1000 for reserve Engine 15. It has previously served in Rehoboth, MA. Posted in March.

Warwick Fire has acquired a 1996 International 4700/Rescue 1 for use as a spare Special Hazards unit. Posted in April.

Warwick Fire has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford F-550/Horton 4X4 ambulance for Rescue 3. Posted in May.
