2023 VERMONT APPARATUS ORDERS AND FUNDING

Barre City Fire Department has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an Osage ambulance built on a Ford F chassis. June 2023.

Barre Town Fire Department has approved funds to purchase a new tanker, which will be built by V-Tec on a 2021 Freightliner chassis.

Bolton Fire Department has on order a 2022 Dodge RAM 5500 / Danko Light Duty Rescue. Jan 2022.

Bolton voters approved the purchase of a pumper/tanker. March 2023.

Chester Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new tanker. March 2023.

Fairfield Fire Department has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One pumper-tanker built on a 2-door Freightliner M2-106 chassis. It will feature a 1000 GPM pump and 2000 gallon tank. March 2023.

Ferrisburgh Fire Department has placed an order with Lakes Region Fire Apparatus for an HME Ahrens-Fox Mini EVO built on a Dodge RAM 5500 4X4 Chassis with SD Crew Cab XL. Features include: 1500 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank, 140CFM CAFS, FRC In Control 400 Pressure Governor Pump House Crosslay, (2) Beds, 1-1/2 double stacks, Fire Research "TurboFoam", Ladders (8' Roof, 8' Fldng Attic, 14' Two-Sect Ext). Aug 2022.

Hinesburg Fire Department has on order a 2024 Ford F-550/E-One 1250 pump 300 tank for Engine 3. March 2023.

Hinesburg Fire Department has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One Typhoon 1750/1830 pumper. September 2023.

Hinesburg voters approved the purchase of a pumper/tanker. March 2023.

Hyde Park Fire Department has placed an order with Lakes Region Fire Apparatus for an Alexis pumper built on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. It will feature a 1500 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and FoamLogix system. June 2023.

Newbrook Fire has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Enforcer PUC 1500 GPM Pumper with 1000 gallon water tank. May 2023.

Newark Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant in the amount of $270,376.19 for a Firefighting Water Tanker Truck. Sep 2021.

North Hyde Park-Eden Fire Department has placed an order with Lakes Region for a Dodge Ram 5500/Alexis mini pumper with 1500 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank. Nov 2022.

Pittsfield Fire has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One quick attack pumper built on a Ford F-550 chassis. May 2023.

Plymouth Fire Department has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One pumper built on a 4X4 commercial chassis. March 2023.

Poultney Fire Department has placed an order with Lakes Region Fire Apparatus for an Alexis mini-pumper built on a Ford F-550 chassis. It will feature a 1500 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank. Nov 2022.

Rutland City Fire Department has on order a custom side mount pumper from Ferrara. The truck will have a 450HP Cummings ISL9 Engine, 1000 Gallon Tank and a Hale Q-Max 2000 GPM Pump. Apr 2021.

Rutland City has sent their 2001 American LaFrance/LTI 1250/500/75' RMA to be completely refurbished by Ladder Tower in Ephrata, PA. The aerial and body will be refurbished and remounted on a brand new Ferrara Invader chassis with all new electrical, hydraulic, and lighting systems as well as a new paint scheme. Posted Sept 2022.

St. Albans City Fire Departmen thas placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for a new E-One Typhoon custom pumper. March 2023.

St. Albans Town has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One Typhoon pumper. August 2023.

Sheldon Fire Department has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One pumper built on an International 2-door chassis. March 2023.

Starksboro Fire Department has placed an order with Lakes Region Fire Apparatus for an Alexis pumper built on a Freightliner M2-112 four door chassis. It will feature a Cummins L9 450EV HP motor, 1250 GPM pump and 1000 gallon water tank. March 2023.

Stowe Fire Department has placed an order with Pierce for an Enforcer PUC 107' aerial ladder. The truck will feature a 1500 GPM pump, 500 gallon water tank, and a short wheelbase for maneuverability. Apr 2022.

Townshend Fire Department has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One Typhoon pumper. June 2023.

Underhill-Jericho Fire has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for and E-One rear-mount pumper built on an International 4X4 chassis. The department also placed an order for an E-One rescue built on an International CV chassis. Jan 2023.

West Dummerston has placed an order with Desorcie Emergency Products for an E-One pumper built on a commercial chassis with 1500 GPM pump and 1500 gallon water tank. July 2023.

West Rutland Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Responder 4x4 pumper built on a Freightliner chassis with 4-door cab. Jul 2022.

Wilmington Fire has placed an order with Allegience Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Saber pumper with 1500 GPM pump and 1500 gallon water tank. Jan 2023.

Windsor Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new pumper-tanker. March 2023.

Winhall Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Enforcer pumper tanker. Features include a 2000 GPM Waterous pump, 3000 gallon water tank, Husky foam system, dry hose storage reels, and a 605 hp Cummins X15 engine. Feb 2023.

Worcester Fire Department has on order a Freightliner M2-106/Midwest 1500 gallon tanker.




2023 VERMONT APPARATUS DELIVERIES (New and Used)

Arlington Fire has taken delivery of a 2023 Freightliner/E-One 1250/1250 for Engine-Tank 75. Posted in May.

Bennington Rural Fire recently placed into service a 2022 Freightliner/Marion 1500/3000 as Tanker 44. Posted in August.

Berlin Fire Department recently placed into service a 2001 Pierce Dash 1850/300/100’ Tower as Tower 1. It had previously served in Upper Gwynedd Township, PA. Posted in March.

Bridport Fire recently placed into service a 2003 American LaFrance heavy rescue at Utility 1. It previously served in Clay, NY as Rescue 3. Posted in May.

Bristol Fire has taken delivery of a 2023 HME Ahrens-Fox 1871W Custom Pumper. Features include: Cummins L9 - 450 HP motor, Allison 3000EVS Automatic Transmission, Hale 1500 GPM pump and 1000 gallon water tank. Posted in June.

Cornwall Fire recently took delivery of a 2022 Freightliner/Dingee 1500/1200 for Engine 1. The former Engine 1 was reassigned to Engine 2. Posted in May.

Derby-Line Fire has placed into service a 2023 Freightliner/Dingee 2200 Gallon tanker as Tanker 4. Posted in August.

Deerfield Valley Rescue has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-450/AEV ambulance for Ambulance 2. It will replace a 2008 unit. Posted in February.

East Dorset Fire has taken delivery of a 2023 Freightliner/E-One rescue for Rescue 595. Posted in June.

Glover EMS has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford Transit/Demers ambulance. Posted in September.

Halifax Fire has purchased a 1993 Mack R/3D 500/2000 pumper-tanker. It had previously served in Rowe, Mass. Posted in May.

Hartford Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F450/Braun ambulance for Ambulance 22. The ambulance numbers now reflect the model year, although the designations of Ambulance 1, 2, 3 ect still remain for CAD purposes. Posted in September.

Ludlow Ambulance has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-550/PL Custom ambulance for A2. Posted in May.

Lyndon Rescue has taken delivery of a 2023 Chevrolet K3500/Wheeled Coach ambulance for Unit 96. It replaces a 2019 Ford/Braun that was destroyed in a crash. Posted in April.

Missisquoi Valley Rescue in Swanton has placed into service a 2013 Ford F-350/Braun ambulance as Rescue 3. It previously served in Enosburgh. Posted in September.

Montpelier Fire has taken delivery of a 2022 Ford F-550/Osage ambulance for Ambulance 2. Posted in April.

Newport Center Volunteer Fire Department has purchased a 2001 Ford F/Pierce 4x4 mini pumper with a 750 GPM pump, 250 gallon water tank and CAFS foam system. It replaces Engine 3's 1984 Chevy. Posted in March.

North Bennington recently placed into service a 2022 Freightliner/Fouts 1500/1000 as Engine 55. Posted in August.

Northfield Ambulance has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford F-550/Osage ambulance for Ambulance 2. Posted in July.

Richford Fire has acquired a 1997 Simon-Duplex/LTI 93’ Mid mount tower. It previously served in Maple Shade, NJ. Posted in April.

Salisbury Fire has placed into service a 2023 Freightliner tanker. No other specs at this time. Posted in September.

Shoreham Fire recently placed into service a 1992 White-GMC 1250/2500 as the Pumper-Tanker. It previously served in Manchester, VT as Truck 9. Posted in September.

South Hero Fire has taken delivery of a 2023 Spartan/E-One pumper for Engine 2. No other specs at this time. Posted in May.

Stowe Fire has placed into service a 2023 Pierce Enforcer PUC 1500/1000 as Engine 1. Posted in June.

Stowe EMS has taken delivery of a 2023 Chevrolet HD5500/Braun for Ambulance 1 replacing an International/Osage. Posted in April.

Williston Fire has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford F-550/Osage ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in May.

Alburgh Rescue was organized earlier this year, separating from the fire department. Both ambulances are still the same units as when they were part of the fire department and they will continue to run from the Alburgh Fire Station. Posted in June.
