Dracut Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for 3 pieces of apparatus- an HP95’ Mid mount Tower; a Typhoon Custom Pumper with 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and 30 gallon A foam tank, 750/30A; and mini pumper with 1250 GPM pump and 300 gallon water tank built on a Ford F-550 chassis (delivered May 2024). In addition, the department will be sending Engine 1's 2009 E-One Typhoon out to be refurbished, which will become a spare after the new pumper is in service. The department has also ordered a Ford F-350 utility truck, a 16’ rescue boat, and a new SBA compressor.
