RHODE ISLAND APPARATUS ORDERS AND FUNDING

Barrington Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for a new Typhoon pumper. Oct 2022.

Block Island Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for an HR100 rear mount ladder truck built on a 10 wheel chassis. Dec 2021.

Dunns Corner Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Pierce Saber pumper with 2000 GPM pump and 1000 gallon water tank. July 2023.

East Greenwich Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One custom pumper. December 2023.

East Providence Fire has placed an order with C&S Speciality for two (2) Stainless Steel pumpers built on Spartan chassis. The unit for Engine 4 will be a foam pumper while Engine 5's will be a traditional engine. Delivery is expected in March of 2024. Oct 2022.

Exeter EMS has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for a Road Rescue Ultramedic ambulance built on a Ford F-559 4X4 chassis. Jan 2023.

Johnston Fire is in the process of ordering a new ladder truck. No confirmation on the manufacturer at this time. Apr 2022.

Lincoln-Lime Rock Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new regional air/light/rehab unit. March 2023.

Middletown Fire has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for two (2) Pierce Saber pumpers with 1500 GPM pump and 750 gallon water tanks. June 2023.

Newport Fire Department has placed an order with Seagrave for a 100' tractor drawn aerial ladder truck. Delivery is expected late in 2023. May 2022.

Newport Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood EV for an E-One custom pumper. Nov 2023.

North Providence Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One Typhoon pumper. Nov 2022.

North Providence Fire has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for a 2nd E-One Typhoon pumper. This is in addition to the one ordered in 2022. April 2023.

North Smithfield Fire has on order a new ambulance for Rescue 1. Dec 2022.

Pawtucket Fire Department has placed an order with E-One for a Typhoon pumper.

Providence Fire Department has placed an order with Allegiance Fire/Rescue for two (2) Road Rescue ambulances built on Ford F series chassis. Nov 2022.

Providence Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new ambulance. March 2023.

Warwick Fire Department has placed an order with Greenwood Emergency Vehicles for an E-One custom pumper. Oct 2023.

West Warwick Fire Department has been awarded a Federal grant to purchase a new ladder truck. March 2023.




2024 RHODE ISLAND APPARATUS DELIVERIES (New and Used)

Anthony Fire District in Coventry has taken delivery of a 2024 Ford F-550/PL Custom 4X4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in June.

Ashaway Ambulance recently placed into service a 2022 Dodge Ram 5500/AEV 4x4 ambulance as Ambulance 841. Posted in April.

Bristol Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2024 Freightliner M2/PL Custom ambulance for Rescue 4. Posted in March.

Bristol Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2024 Spartan Metro Star/Smeal 1500/1000 for Engine 4. Posted in June.

Block Island Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford F-550/Wheeled Coach ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in May.

Central Falls Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2023 E-One Typhoon 1500/750/30F for Engine 2. Posted in February.

East Greenwich Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford F-550/Life Line 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in February.

Electric Boat Fire Department has acquired a 2014 Chevy G4500/2006 Osage Ambulance. It perviously served with the Anthony Fire District in Coventry. Posted in April.

Hope Valley Ambulance has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford E-450/Road Rescue ambulance for Ambulance 311. Posted in February.

Johnston Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2023 Spartan/Smeal 105' RMA for Ladder 1. Posted in February.

Johnston Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2024 Ford F-550/PL Custom ambulance for Rescue 1. Posted in June.

Lime Rock Fire District has taken delivery of a 2024 E-One Cyclone 1500/780 for Engine 8. The 2008 Pierce will be reassigned as Engine 9. Posted in May.

Lincoln Rescue has taken delivery of a 2023 Dodge Ram 5500/PL Custom 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 2. Posted in March.

Pawtucket Fire Department is set to take delivery of a 2024 E-One Typhoon 1500/750 for Engine 2. The current Engine 2 will be reassigned to Engine 6. Posted in June.

Pawtucket Fire has acquired a 1992 E-One Protector 1500/500 for use as a spare, designated Engine 10. It previously served in North Providence. Posted in June.

Providence Fire Department has purchased Warren, RI's 1989 Maxim 1500/500 for use as a spare pumper. Providence has also purchased a used Ferrara pumper for Engine 2 and a used Pierce pumper for Engine 8. No further info on these trucks at this time. Posted in January.

Richmond Rescue recently took delivery of a 2023 Ford F-550/Braun 4X4 ambulance for Ambulance 1. Posted in February.

Smithfield Fire Department has taken delivery of a 2024 E-One Typhoon 2000/300 100’ RM tower for Tower-Ladder 1. Posted in March.

Warren Fire has taken delivery of a 2023 Ford F-550/Life Line 4x4 ambulance for Rescue 3. Posted in January.

Warwick Fire Department has purchased Cranston Engine 6's former 2008 HME/Ahrens Fox 1500/800. It will replace Engine 11's 1994 Pierce which has been permanently removed from service. Posted in January.

Warwick Fire Department has purchased a 2007 KME Predator 1500/750/30A and designated it Engine 16. It had previously served in Barrington. Posted in May.

Westerly Ambulance has placed into service a 2023 Ford F-450/2017 Braun 4x4 ambulance (box remounted) as Ambulance 751. They also placed into service a 2023 Ford F-450/2008 Braun 4x4 ambulance (box remount) as Ambulance 753. Posted in April.

Westerly Ambulance Corps has placed into service a 2023 Chevrolet 3500HD/Wheeled Coach ambulance as Ambulance 752. Posted in May.
